Family Boxing

$60 per month

Youth $25 Yearly USA Boxing Fee

Adults $35 Yearly USA Boxing Fee

Our Family Style Boxing class is where families train together, grow together, and get stronger—physically and mentally. Designed for all ages and skill levels, this class introduces the fundamentals of boxing while emphasizing discipline, self-confidence, and total athlete development.

Led by certified coaches, participants will learn basic punches, footwork, and conditioning drills that lay the foundation for elite-level training. But it’s more than just boxing—this is a space where parents, kids, and caregivers can bond through movement, build healthy habits, and encourage one another every step of the way.

Rooted in empowerment and mutual respect, our family-style format supports intergenerational connection, teaching discipline and resilience in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're training side-by-side with your child or cheering each other on, you’ll leave stronger—together.

Elite Boxing

$100 per month + USA Boxing Yearly Registration

Elite Boxer Classes – Train Like a Champion
Our Elite program is designed for youth and teens (ages 13+) who are serious about stepping into the ring. These evening classes focus on advanced skill development, conditioning, and mental discipline — all with the goal of preparing athletes for competition.

Try-outs are held at the end of every even-numbered month, and successful candidates must register with USA Boxing within their first two months of class to remain eligible for competitive training.

Whether you dream of competing or want to test your limits, the Elite program will push you — and support you — every step of the way.

Unified Boxing

$30 Monthly, Only for Friday’s at 5pm

If participant wants to participate in the M,W,F class, and the 5pm class it is $75 monthly

Our Unified Boxing class is a welcoming, once-a-week program designed for children and adults with unique and special needs. This inclusive class uses the power of boxing to promote physical wellness, build healthy habits, and support social and emotional growth.

Through fun, accessible group activities, participants engage in movement, coordination, and basic boxing techniques—all tailored to individual abilities. More than just exercise, Unified Boxing is a space for connection, confidence, and community.

With a focus on encouragement and empowerment, each session helps participants feel strong, capable, and proud of what their bodies can do. All abilities welcome—every punch counts!

Self-defense is not a privilege — it’s a priority.
Our self-defense classes are designed to empower individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you prefer training in a studio, at your workplace for professional development, outdoors, indoors, or in your community space — we bring the training to you.

Classes are available throughout the County because everyone deserves the tools to feel safe and confident.

Coach: Anthony Paulo

Meet Coach Anthony

Coach Anthony brings over 15 years of experience coaching youth sports at every level—from pee-wee to college. A former New York State All-Star and multi-sport high school athlete, Anthony has transformed his lifelong love of athletics into a career dedicated to mentoring and developing young athletes.

In the gym, Anthony focuses on injury prevention, strength building, and teamwork. With two years of boxing training under his belt, he brings a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to coaching—blending conditioning and discipline with heart and humor.

Outside the ring, Anthony is the Academic Coordinator at Hillcrest Educational Centers, where he supports staff in delivering individualized education and care to students with unique and special needs.

Anthony has also been a proud player in Berkshire County’s Adult Baseball League, where he catches, hits, and shares his knowledge with the next generation of athletes. He lives in Pittsfield with his wife, Head Coach Abby, their daughter Evelyn, and their two dogs, Yukon and Bumble..

Coach: Paul Procopio

Meet Coach Paul

A true Berkshire County legend, Coach Paul Procopio brings over 50 years of coaching excellence to the ring. Inducted into seven Hall of Fames—including St. Joe Basketball & Football, Pittsfield MMQBC, Berkshire County UNICO, Pittsfield Hoop Club, the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association, and the New England Basketball Hall of Fame—Coach Paul is a celebrated athlete, educator, and mentor.

His journey in boxing began in the early 2000s as the cut-man for 15–1 Berkshire Boxing Hall of Famer Todd “The Punisher” Poulton. Working ringside with Todd, Coach Paul developed a sharp eye for fundamentals, breaking down the sport’s most technical elements in a way that’s clear, teachable, and effective for all levels.

A retired educator with 39 years of service as a math teacher, guidance counselor, and coach at Central Berkshire School District and St. Joe’s High School, Paul continues to uplift young athletes with wisdom, patience, and precision.

Beyond the gym, Coach Paul is a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, often found beaming about his newest great-granddaughter, Natalia. He's also a gifted artist, with his hand-painted basketballs displayed in homes and institutions across the country.

Coach Paul Procopio isn’t just part of the sport—he’s part of its legacy.

Meet Coach Abby

With over 20 years of experience in coaching and youth sports education, Coach Abby brings passion, discipline, and heart to every athlete she works with. A former New York State All-Star and collegiate athlete, Abby trained under 15-1 boxer Todd “The Punisher” Poulton for three years before stepping up to lead the Berkshire Boxing Academy.

Abby’s commitment to community runs deep. She serves full-time as the Development & Communications Manager at the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center, where she oversees fundraising, communications, IT, and strategic initiatives supporting youth and families across Berkshire County.

A recognized community leader, Abby is a Berkshire County 40 Under 40 honoree, a 2025 iBerkshires Community Hero, and a multi-year nominee for Under-40 Changemaker. She currently chairs the Berkshire Leadership Program, serves as Clerk of the Pittsfield Cultural Council, and volunteers with the GABCC Penguins swim team.

When she’s not coaching or leading community efforts, Abby enjoys adventures with her 9-year-old daughter Evelyn, her husband Coach Anthony, and their two beloved dogs, Yukon and Bumble. She’s proud to launch this new chapter at the Academy—where strength, family, and community come first.
